I'm Sam, and I edit TipsAndKnowHow. The guides cover the ordinary jobs that come up in most households, in five sections: Home & Organizing, Hosting & Occasions, Gifting, Buying Smarter and Practical Skills. Each one starts from a question narrow enough to answer on one page, puts the usable answer first, and says where the advice stops applying.
How I work
I want to know what something really costs before I buy it, so guides give price bands instead of one hopeful number. I like steps in the order you actually do the job, with the tool and the size named. And I check whether advice works, not whether it sounds right, so a guide says what usually goes wrong and when the job belongs with a professional.
How guides are made
Guides are drafted with AI. I read and review every guide and I edit and correct anything wrong: facts, writing, measurements, product names, images.
Each guide lists its sources at the end: government agencies, university extension services and manufacturer documentation. The rules every guide follows are in the editorial policy.
